Equipment for Home Use

Aragon Medical Equipment offers durable medical equipment for both sale and rental, for use in the home. Some items available for rental or sale require a prescription to dispense, such as oxygen equipment, nebulizers, CPAP or BiPAP machines. Beyond the necessity of a prescription, if you wish for your equipment to be covered by your health insurance plan, there may be additional paperwork required. Paperwork needed for insurance coverage depends on the type of equipment you are in need of, and the type of insurance you have. Many insurance companies approve of rental, rather than purchase, of equipment. Renting is more cost-effective if you will not be in need of equipment long-term. When you enter into a rental agreement with Aragon Medical, you will be contacted on a monthly basis to determine if you have questions or concerns with your equipment. Respiratory equipment, such as oxygen concentrators, home-fill systems and tanks, require a physical check-in to ensure your rented equipment is working properly and being used correctly. CPAP and BiPAP renters will be set-up and visited by our respiratory therapy staff to ensure equipment is being used correctly, per Doctor's orders, and that all questions and concerns are answered.

Although you may pick up your equipment at our physical locations, some medical equipment will always be set up in your home. Hospital beds and power wheelchairs are just a couple of examples.

Durable medical equipment is also available for private purchase, without insurance verification. Although the additional documentation may not be required for some private sales, equipment which requires a prescription to dispense, will still require a prescription.
